I'm Gøril Jelstad, and I'm a graphic designer and illustrator based in Drammen, Norway.

 

I work primarily with design for the print media, but also develop interactive design and websites using both html and javascript as well as flash.

 

I believe that graphic design has the power to improve the user experience. Through marketing, identity-making and design, a company can distinguish itself from the competitors.

 

 

In the words of the very wise mr. Arthur Schopenhauer:

I graduated with a stong upper second class BA(Hons) degree in Graphic design from Camberwell College of Arts in June 2009.

 

I've been working freelance since the summer of 2007, and have done a lot of exiting projects alongside my studies at Camberwell and after graduation.

I'm interested in the fusion between art and design, and love to do projects that can blur the distinction between them. The true masterpiece is, for me, an original idea combined with a well executed concept and eye-catching design.

 

Professionalism is important to me, and I pride myself in my work. I truely believe that the key to great communication lies in a solid and thoroughly developed concept and attention to details.
